icotec Medical has appointed Christine Greaney, MA, MBA, as Global Chief People Officer, bringing more than 25 years of experience in human resources leadership across medical technology, life sciences, industrial technology and global businesses.
In her new role, Greaney will bring her experience in organisational transformation, growth, M&A integration, leadership development and cultural change to icotec Medical.
She joins the company from Teradyne Robotics, where she served as Head of Human Resources and supported the organisation’s people strategy for nearly 2 years.
Before Teradyne, Greaney was Global HR Leader – Surgical Visualization & Guidance at GE HealthCare. She led people strategy for a global medical technology business through post-spin reorganisation and commercial growth, with responsibilities spanning organisational integration, HR analytics, succession planning, leadership development and talent calibration.
Greaney also spent more than 5 years with Takeda, holding senior global HR roles including Global HR Business Leader – Strategy and Business Excellence and Global Supply Chain, Global HR Business Leader – Global Real Estate, Facilities and Procurement, and Senior Director HR – Global Technology, Data & Digital.
Earlier, she served as VP Human Resources at Cengage Group, supporting the transformation of its global product management and commercial operating model.
Her career also includes senior HR roles at Nuance Communications, Shire and PerkinElmer. At Shire, she led HR activities for major acquisitions from due diligence through post-close integration, while at Nuance she worked across M&A, talent assessment, retention and cultural alignment.
Greaney previously spent more than 6 years with GE Oil & Gas across global M&A, HR business partnering and global supply chain HR roles. She also served as Head of HR at Crane Company and Head of Human Resources at Deploy Solutions, where she helped build HR infrastructure, talent practices, performance management and leadership capabilities.
Her appointment at icotec Medical brings extensive global people leadership and transformation experience to the medical technology sector.
