The expansion was inaugurated by Priyank M Kharge, marking a rapid scale-up of the centre. The Bengaluru GCC focuses on product development, platform innovation, and engineering capabilities.

eBay operates in more than 190 markets worldwide and serves over 134 million active users. The company is now deepening its presence in Bengaluru by tapping into the city’s skilled talent pool.

During the inauguration, the company also highlighted key areas of collaboration. These include initiatives around skilling, setting up Centres of Excellence, and increasing engagement with startups.

The expansion reflects eBay’s strategy to build stronger technology capabilities while contributing to the local innovation ecosystem.
