LTM launches GCC Origin to accelerate AI-native capability centres in India

As enterprises rethink how they manage global operations in the artificial intelligence era, LTM has launched GCC Origin, a dedicated business unit to help companies establish, run, expand and transform Global Capability Centers (GCCs) in India.

The new unit will operate independently within LTM, with dedicated leadership, sales and delivery teams. Shailendra Singh will lead GCC Origin, reporting to Venu Lambu, Chief Executive Officer and Managing Director. The business brings together strategy, AI, technology, talent, infrastructure and ecosystem partnerships under a single model.

Integrated services for GCC development

GCC Origin supports the entire setup process, from location selection and workplace infrastructure to operational readiness and turnkey facilities across Tier 1 and Tier 2 cities.

Powered by BlueVerse™, LTM’s agentic AI ecosystem, the unit aims to help enterprises establish new GCCs and transform existing centres into AI-native operations.

Venu Lambu said GCCs are moving beyond their traditional cost-saving role towards creating value through capabilities owned by enterprises. “Increasingly, that means AI. GCC Origin is built for that shift, helping enterprises create GCCs that are agentic by design,” he said.

Flexible models and AI capabilities

GCC Origin offers a range of services that enterprises can select based on their GCC’s maturity. These include Assisted GCC, Build-Operate-Transform-Transfer, Virtual GCC, Joint Ventures, Staff Augmentation and Hire-Operate-Transfer.

Its key service areas include:

  • Design and advisory: Strategy, location guidance, operating plans and governance frameworks.
  • Talent and workforce: AI-powered platforms such as Talent Pool Radar and TalentInsights for recruitment and upskilling.
  • AI and automation: Access to more than 300 pre-built, domain-specific AI agents through BlueVerse, along with custom agent development.
  • Operations and transfer: Management of IT and business operations, followed by a structured transfer of ownership.

Leveraging global scale

LTM has more than 88,000 employees across 40 countries. Through GCC Origin, the company aims to combine its global delivery capabilities with AI agents and traditional GCC setup services.

The initiative reflects a shift towards high-value, AI-native operational centres, moving beyond conventional staffing and infrastructure support to help enterprises build and manage integrated global capabilities.
