AssetMark launches Hyderabad GCC with capacity for 500 employees

Expanding its presence in India, US-based wealth management platform AssetMark has opened a Global Capability Centre (GCC) in Hyderabad. The new facility, named AssetMark Global Wealth, can accommodate approximately 500 employees and will support the company’s global technology and business operations while creating opportunities for local talent.

AssetMark serves more than 10,000 financial advisors and has operated in India through an outsourcing model for nearly 10 years. The Hyderabad GCC marks the next phase of its investment in the country, bringing a dedicated team in-house.

The company has leased and fully developed a workplace at H-10 By Phoenix Hitech City, Hyderabad. The facility is designed to encourage collaboration, innovation and professional growth while reflecting AssetMark’s values and culture.

Led by Joshi Alaparthi, Vice President and Head of India GCC, the team will work closely with colleagues in the US on technology and engineering initiatives for AssetMark’s wealth management platform. Artificial intelligence will be used to improve advisor productivity, enhance client service and expand engineering capabilities, while keeping human judgement central to decision-making.

“Hyderabad’s strong ecosystem of technology and financial services expertise makes it an ideal location for AssetMark to expand our global capabilities and support our next phase of growth,” said Lou Maiuri, Chairman and Group CEO of AssetMark. He added that collaboration across regions and time zones would help accelerate innovation and strengthen support for financial advisors and their clients.

As the company enters its 30th year, the Hyderabad centre is expected to play an important role in its global operations.

“Our expansion into Hyderabad is an important step in strengthening the exceptional service we provide to financial advisors and their clients,” said Carrie Hansen, Chief Operating Officer of AssetMark. She said bringing Operations and Technology teams together would improve collaboration, accelerate innovation and enhance service delivery. She also highlighted the company’s focus on building a team with a shared purpose, opportunities for growth and ownership of its work.

Hiring is underway across technology, operations and product management. Opportunities range from global leadership roles overseeing teams in India and the US to experienced professionals and early-career candidates.

As part of its recruitment programme, AssetMark will partner with Chaitanya Bharathi Institute of Technology (CBIT) to recruit 10–15 graduates for its first campus hiring group. The programme is expected to expand to more institutions and disciplines over time.
