As digital lending continues to evolve, CRED has introduced a new standalone application, Cash by CRED, designed to help users better understand their borrowing capacity and access loans based on their financial profile.
The new app brings together several credit-related tools on a single platform, including credit score checks, loan calculators and affordability assessments. Unlike some of it’s existing services, Cash by CRED is available to all users and is not restricted to their members.
According to the company, the platform analyses users’ spending patterns to estimate monthly surplus income and determine the level of equated monthly instalments (EMIs) they may be able to comfortably manage. It also provides a detailed breakdown of interest costs, fees and other charges before presenting eligible loan offers.
The launch comes at a time when digital lending platforms are expanding services focused on improving credit accessibility and transparency. They said the app is designed to help users gain a clearer understanding of repayment commitments and make more informed borrowing decisions.
Commenting on the launch, Kunal Shah said the app aims to encourage responsible borrowing and repayment behaviour by giving users greater transparency and context around credit-related decisions.
The company added that the platform is intended to help users build stronger credit histories through tools that evaluate affordability before offering loan options.
Cash by CRED is currently available for download on Android devices. Loan offers, financial terms and eligibility criteria will vary depending on individual user profiles and lender assessments.
