With more than a decade of experience across entertainment, films, television, and streaming, Apoorva brings extensive expertise in brand marketing, content marketing, digital strategy, media partnerships, and integrated campaign management.
She has been associated with ZEE5 for nearly 5 years and most recently served as Marketing Director. During her tenure, she played a key role in driving streaming-focused marketing initiatives, audience engagement strategies, digital-first campaigns, and brand-building efforts for the platform.
Before joining ZEE5, Apoorva served as Head of Marketing at ALTBalaji, where she led marketing initiatives for the streaming platform and contributed to its audience growth and brand visibility.
Earlier, she worked with Balaji Telefilms Ltd as AVP Marketing – Balaji Motion Pictures Ltd. In this role, she managed brand and content marketing, integrated marketing strategies, creative campaigns, media planning, brand partnerships, digital initiatives, public relations strategies, and budget management.
Prior to that, she was associated with Viacom18 Studios as Marketing Manager, where she led marketing campaigns across Hollywood, Bollywood, and regional film releases. She worked on promotional campaigns for movies including Toilet: Ek Prem Katha, Padmaavat, Manto, Baazaar, and Motichoor Chakhnachoor, while also overseeing media alliances and brand partnership initiatives.
Apoorva also spent time at Star India, working across channels including Star Gold, Star Gold HD, Movies OK, Star Utsav Movies, Star Gold Select HD, and Channel V. Her responsibilities included 360-degree marketing campaigns, digital media strategy, consumer insights, public relations, brand integrations, on-air communication, and marketing budget management.
Earlier in her career, she held roles at Milestone Brandcom, Bottomline Media Pvt Ltd, Rajshri Entertainment, and Flags Communications, building a strong foundation across media, entertainment, and brand marketing.
Her elevation reflects ZEE5’s continued focus on strengthening its marketing leadership as competition intensifies in India’s streaming and digital entertainment market.
