Birla Carbon promotes Anil Nandakumar to Marketing Head – Asia

Nandakumar brings more than 20 years of leadership experience across product management, digital marketing, customer experience, commercial excellence and operational transformation. Throughout his career, he has successfully driven market expansion, strengthened customer relationships and developed marketing strategies that deliver measurable business value.

Since joining Birla Carbon in 2021, Nandakumar has held several strategic leadership roles, including Global Head – Digital Marketing & Commercial Excellence and Global Market Development Lead for Continua™ Sustainable Solutions. In these roles, he led digital transformation initiatives, commercial excellence programs and the global market development of the company’s sustainable product portfolio, supporting Birla Carbon’s innovation and sustainability objectives.

Before joining Birla Carbon, he held leadership positions at Aditya Birla Management Corporation, Tata Business Excellence Group (TBExG), Tata Interactive Systems, Gauranga Soft Tech and several other organizations. During his career, he has led customer experience transformation, product and brand development, key account management initiatives and operational excellence programs that strengthened business performance and customer engagement.

His elevation reflects Birla Carbon’s confidence in his strategic leadership, commercial expertise and ability to drive business growth. In his expanded role, Nandakumar will focus on strengthening the company’s presence across Asia while advancing its long-term sustainability and market leadership goals.
