Barco has appointed Amit Saxena as Vice President, Global IT, Cybersecurity & AI and Technology GCC Site Head. In the new role, he will oversee the company’s global technology strategy and execution across enterprise technology platforms, infrastructure, cybersecurity, service delivery, cloud operations, digital workplace and AI enablement.
Saxena will also lead the strategic growth of Barco’s Technology GCC, with a focus on building future talent, engineering capabilities and digital innovation.
Before joining Barco, Saxena served as SVP and Chief Information Officer at IKS Health. He led an AI-first IT strategy across US healthcare workflows, established security-by-design architecture based on Zero Trust principles, drove automation-led cost optimization and developed M&A-ready IT governance and integration frameworks.
Earlier, he was Chief Delivery Officer at CMS IT Services, where he handled managed IT delivery, P&L, enterprise customers and technology capabilities across cloud, cybersecurity, AIOps and automation.
Saxena also spent nearly 5 years at Motherson Technology Services in leadership roles covering Strategic Account Management and IT Mergers & Acquisitions. His responsibilities included IT due diligence, post-merger integration, global IT strategy and sourcing.
He previously held senior leadership roles at Navisite, including Vice President Information Technology and Country Head. He led India operations across IT, HR, Finance and Administration for a multi-cloud managed services environment serving customers in the US and UK.
His earlier career includes a leadership role at Wipro as Delivery Head – Cloud Transformation Services. He also spent more than 17 years with STMicroelectronics, progressing through roles across software engineering, enterprise service management, workplace services, program management and global data center programs.
Across his career, Saxena has built experience in cloud, infrastructure, digital transformation, IT operations, M&A integration and large-scale technology delivery.
At Barco, he will bring this experience across global IT, cybersecurity, AI, cloud, infrastructure, digital transformation and GCC leadership to strengthen technology resilience, scale AI-enabled platforms and support the company’s broader business transformation agenda.
