Expanding its T5 smartphone lineup, Vivo has launched the new Vivo T5 in select global markets. The device joins the Vivo T5 Pro 5G and Vivo T5x 5G, targeting users looking for a mid-range smartphone with a large battery and upgraded camera features.
The smartphone is currently available in Black and Golden colour options and comes in a single 8GB RAM + 256GB storage variant. It is priced at MXN 5,799, which is approximately Rs. 32,000.
The Vivo T5 features a 6.75-inch HD+ LCD display with a 120Hz refresh rate, up to 1,250 nits peak brightness, and 83% NTSC colour coverage. The device also carries IP68 and IP69 ratings for dust and water resistance.
Powering the smartphone is Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 6s Gen 2 octa-core processor built on a 6nm architecture. The chipset includes four efficiency cores clocked at 1.9GHz and four performance cores reaching speeds of up to 2.9GHz. The handset also includes LPDDR4x RAM and UFS 2.2 internal storage.
On the camera front, the Vivo T5 comes with a dual rear camera setup led by a 50-megapixel primary sensor with an f/2.0 aperture, along with a 2-megapixel secondary camera. For selfies and video calls, the smartphone includes a 32-megapixel front camera. An LED flash is also placed on the rear panel.
One of the key highlights of the Vivo T5 is its 7,200mAh battery, paired with 44W wired fast charging support. The device supports 4G LTE, dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.1, USB Type-C, GPS, Galileo, GLONASS, BeiDou, and QZSS connectivity systems.
The smartphone also includes multiple onboard sensors, an IR blaster, and a side-mounted fingerprint scanner. The Vivo T5 measures 166.64×78.43×8.39mm and weighs around 219g.
