This promotion comes after nearly 20 years with the organisation, reflecting his long-standing contribution to its growth and strategy.

In his expanded role, Shah will support the company’s growth journey, leveraging his experience across finance, strategy, insurance operations, executive leadership, and business stewardship.

Shah has been associated with HDFC ERGO for close to 20 years. Prior to this role, he served as Executive Director, contributing to the company’s strategic direction. Earlier, he held the position of Executive Director & CFO, where he was part of the executive management team and provided strategic inputs during key phases for the insurance sector.

Before joining HDFC ERGO, he served as Chief Financial Officer at IL&FS Education and Technology Services Limited, where he built strong expertise in financial leadership and business management.

Earlier in his career, Shah held roles as AVP at JM Financial & Investment Consultancy Services Limited, Manager – Finance at Atlas Copco India Limited, and Consultant at S. B. Billimoria & Co.. Across these positions, he developed a strong foundation in finance, consulting, investment advisory, and corporate financial management.
