Strengthening its footprint in India, Progress Software has announced the expansion and relocation of its Global Capability Center (GCC) in Bengaluru, marking a significant step in its growth strategy in the country.

The new office, located at Embassy Tech Village, is designed to boost collaboration, accelerate AI-led innovation, and support future expansion within the city’s technology ecosystem.

The expanded GCC will handle a wide range of functions, including engineering, product development, sales, customer success, marketing, and operations. This move highlights the company’s focus on scaling AI-driven innovation and strengthening its digital infrastructure capabilities.

Progress Software has identified India as a key pillar in its global growth and innovation plans. The company continues to invest in the country’s strong technology talent pool to build a world-class GCC that supports its global operations.

Currently, nearly 25% of the company’s workforce in India contributes to global functions such as sales, customer support, customer success, and marketing, reflecting the country’s growing importance in its worldwide operations.

As part of its expansion efforts, the company is also deepening its engagement within Bengaluru’s technology ecosystem. It has partnered with The Bodhi Tree Foundation to support community initiatives, including the donation of electric wheelchairs.

The expansion of Progress Software’s Bengaluru GCC highlights India’s rising role in global AI innovation and enterprise operations, reinforcing its position as a major hub for Global Capability Centers.
