I Squared Capital has appointed Nitin Kahol as Global Head of Capability Center, bringing extensive experience in finance operations, private equity reporting, global capability centre leadership, financial planning, business operations and shared services.
Before joining I Squared Capital, Kahol served as Senior Vice President at Blackstone in Gurugram. Prior to that, he spent over 6 years with Wipro, where he held several leadership positions, including General Manager and Co-Head of Finance and Operations, Co-Head Finance, Director and Senior Manager. During his tenure, he supported Blackstone as a key client across finance and operational functions.
Earlier, Kahol spent more than 4 years at ThoughtFocus, progressing from Senior Analyst – Private Equity to Team Lead – Private Equity and subsequently Manager. His responsibilities included quarterly financial reporting, capital calls and distributions, investor reporting, management fee calculations, carried interest and waterfall calculations. He also coordinated with CFOs, controllers, accounting teams and legal counsel.
He previously worked with BlackRock in finance reporting and management information roles, handling consolidation, FP&A reporting, variance analysis, SOX documentation and month-end processes. His professional journey also includes experience with EY, M/s Goel Mintri & Associates and M/s Ramesh Shah & Associates.
In his new role at I Squared Capital, Kahol will draw on his expertise in private equity operations, finance transformation, shared services, reporting and global delivery to support the firm’s growth and operational expansion.3
