Priyanka Nayak Appointed Vice President – HR, Talent Strategy & Employer Brand at HDFC ERGO

HDFC ERGO General Insurance has appointed Priyanka Nayak as Vice President – Human Resources, Talent Strategy & Employer Brand, adding an experienced HR professional to its leadership team. Nayak joined the insurer in July 2026 and will focus on areas including enterprise talent strategy, employer branding and internal communications.

Prior to joining HDFC ERGO, Nayak spent more than four years at Bain & Company, where she most recently served as Senior Manager – Human Resources. During her tenure, she worked across talent and learning initiatives supporting Bain’s consulting and business-support teams in India.

Her professional experience also includes roles at Nium, Boston Consulting Group and Capgemini, where she worked across areas such as employee experience, learning and development, engagement and capability building. She began her HR career with XL Dynamics India and also has experience in client relations from her earlier stint at Info Edge India.

In her new role, Nayak’s mandate brings together talent strategy and employer brand, areas that increasingly intersect as organisations focus on attracting, developing and retaining skilled talent while strengthening employee experience.

Nayak holds a Master of Human Resource Development and Management from Jamnalal Bajaj Institute of Management Studies (JBIMS) and a Bachelor of Commerce from SIES, Sion.

Her appointment comes as HDFC ERGO continues to build its people and organisational capabilities alongside its broader business growth.
