OpenAI has expanded its Ads Manager beta with the launch of product feed ads, giving retailers a more scalable way to promote products within ChatGPT conversations.

The new feature allows advertisers to upload entire product catalogs and automatically generate ads from feed data, eliminating the need to manually create campaigns for individual products.

Designed for retail advertisers, the update helps brands connect shoppers with relevant products during purchase-focused conversations. By matching catalog inventory with user intent, businesses can serve more personalized and timely product recommendations inside ChatGPT.

According to OpenAI, feed-based ads have emerged as one of the strongest-performing formats within its Ads Beta program, highlighting growing interest from retailers looking to reach consumers through conversational AI experiences.

The feature follows a model widely used by major digital advertising platforms, where dynamic product feeds enable advertisers to automatically align available inventory with consumer interests at scale.

For retailers, the new capability offers a way to manage large product catalogs more efficiently while expanding advertising reach without increasing campaign complexity.

Advertisers participating in the beta program can now review product feed requirements and begin creating campaigns directly from uploaded catalogs.

The launch marks another step in OpenAI’s efforts to expand its advertising ecosystem and provide businesses with tools that make AI-powered marketing more automated, scalable, and performance-focused.
