Nucleus Software reports Q1 decline as AI and transaction banking remain key priorities

Nucleus Software is continuing to strengthen its technology portfolio and expand global operations, even as its financial performance declined in Q1 of FY2026–27.

For the quarter ended 30 June 2026, consolidated revenue stood at approximately $24.2 million, compared with $25 million in the same period last year. Consolidated profit after tax (PAT) fell to approximately $2.7 million from $4.0 million, while earnings per share (EPS) declined to approximately $0.10 from $0.15.

Vishnu R. Dusad, Co-founder and Managing Director, Nucleus Software, said: “Our focus remains firmly anchored in creating long-term value through relevant innovation, trusted customer relationships and responsible execution.”

On a standalone basis, revenue was approximately $22.3 million, compared with $23.1 million a year earlier. Standalone PAT declined to approximately $2.6 million from $4.6 million, while EPS fell to approximately $0.10 from $0.17.

During the quarter, the FinTech provider continued investing in its lending and transaction banking platforms. Its focus includes intelligent automation, responsible AI, composable architecture, real-time processing and regulatory readiness to help financial institutions advance their digital transformation.

The company also appointed Bhavit Godiwala as Chief Customer Success Officer to strengthen customer success leadership. It expanded its regional presence through a strategic partnership in Indonesia and completed 5 years of collaboration with Hatton National Bank.

Nucleus Software said it will continue investing in lending and transaction banking platforms, AI capabilities, customer outcomes and regional partnerships throughout FY2026–27.
