Kunal currently leads Flipkart Minutes, the company’s quick commerce vertical, and will continue to drive growth, scale operations, and strengthen Flipkart’s position in the rapidly evolving quick commerce space. He brings deep expertise across key categories, including smartphones, grocery, home, appliances, fashion, mobile accessories, electronics accessories, and quick commerce.
With over a decade at Flipkart, Kunal has held multiple leadership roles across business units. Alongside Flipkart Minutes, he also heads the Fashion Business, contributing to category leadership, growth strategy, and execution across major consumer segments.
Earlier, he served as Head of Appliances Business, driving growth in one of Flipkart’s core electronics categories. He also held the role of BU Head and P&L Head – Smartphones/Mobiles, leading one of India’s most critical e-commerce segments.
Kunal played a key role in building Flipkart Wholesale, where he served as BU Head and P&L Head – Grocery Business. He was part of the core team that set up the B2B business and led a large team supporting grocery operations.
His leadership journey at Flipkart includes roles such as Senior Director & Business Head – Home Business, Director & Business Head – Home Business, Director – Business Development – Smartphones, Associate Director – Smartphones, Associate Director and Head – Mobile Accessories and Electronics Accessories, and Category Head – Computer/Laptop Accessories, Peripherals & Networking Devices. Across these roles, he drove business strategy, category growth, market expansion, pricing, inventory and fulfillment, partnerships, and product-led initiatives.
Before joining Flipkart, Kunal worked as Marketing Manager at Microsoft. Earlier, he served as Area Sales Manager at Nokia and began his career as Territory Manager at Tata Motors, building strong experience in sales, market operations, and channel management.
