The iPhone 18 Pro is tipped to launch with a deep red colour option, according to a post shared by tipster Digital Chat Station on a Chinese platform. The leak also included a render showing the smartphone in the rumoured shade. The tipster claims to have seen prototype units of the device featuring this colour.

Earlier reports have also suggested that the iPhone 18 Pro lineup could be available in grey and silver variants alongside the dark red finish. Additionally, another industry insider has indicated that Apple is actively testing this deep red colour option for both the iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone 18 Pro Max models.

The official unveiling of the smartphone is expected around September, although the company has not confirmed any details yet.

On the design front, Apple is reportedly experimenting with 2 display options. One version is expected to retain the current design, while another could feature a smaller “Mini Dynamic Island.” This change may be possible by moving some Face ID components under the display. However, the company is still conducting A/B testing and has not finalised the design.

If Apple decides to stick with the existing design structure, the Dynamic Island is likely to remain unchanged. The phone is also expected to continue with the rectangular camera layout seen in the previous generation.
