In a move to simplify enterprise operations, It has expanded its newly introduced Apple Business platform to more than 200 countries starting April 14.
The platform brings together multiple existing enterprise tools into a single system. It combines Apple Business Connect, Apple Business Essentials, and Business Manager, allowing companies to manage devices, users, apps, and communication tools through one unified interface.
Apple Business is available as a free service, with optional paid add-ons. Existing users of it’s enterprise tools will be automatically migrated to the new platform. To access full features, devices must run on iOS 26, iPadOS 26, or macOS 26.
For businesses, iCloud storage plans start at $0.99 (roughly Rs. 93) per user per month and go up to higher tiers such as 2TB. AppleCare+ for Business is also offered as a subscription, covering hardware repairs, accidental damage, and priority support. Pricing varies depending on device and coverage. India-specific pricing details have not yet been announced.
A key highlight of the platform is integrated mobile device management (MDM). Businesses can configure and manage iPhone, iPad, and Mac devices without needing third-party solutions. It also offers API-based automation for larger organisations.
The platform strengthens business presence across Apple services such as Maps, Wallet, Mail, and Siri. Companies can manage branding, create place cards, and run offers across these services. It has also introduced advertising within Apple Maps, where businesses can bid for placements that appear in search results or suggested locations.
Apple Business also includes built-in tools for email, calendar, and employee directories. Organisations can create custom domain email addresses, shared calendars, and internal communication systems.
Additionally, a dedicated Apple Business app allows employees to install work apps, access directories, and request IT support directly from their devices. The platform also supports Tap to Pay integration, further enhancing business capabilities.
