Expanding its enterprise AI offerings, Anthropic on Wednesday introduced a new solution designed specifically for small and medium businesses. The product, called Claude for Small Business, brings ready-to-use AI workflows and built-in connectors that enable automation across commonly used business tools.
The San Francisco-based AI company said the move is aimed at helping smaller firms adopt artificial intelligence without the cost and complexity typically associated with enterprise-grade systems. Many small businesses operate with limited budgets and often struggle to implement advanced automation, slowing down AI adoption compared to larger corporations.
With this launch, Anthropic positions Claude for Small Business as an affordable, plug-and-play system that integrates directly with widely used platforms. These include Intuit QuickBooks, PayPal, HubSpot, Canva, Docusign, Google Workspace, and Microsoft 365. Once connected, the AI system enables access to 15 pre-built agentic workflows spanning finance, operations, sales, marketing, HR, and customer support.
The company highlighted that small businesses contribute around 44 percent of US GDP, making them a key segment for AI-driven productivity gains.
Claude for Small Business is designed as a simple toggle-based installation that connects existing business software to Claude’s AI capabilities. This removes the need for custom-built automation systems or expensive AI integrations, allowing companies to deploy workflows quickly.
In a statement, Daniela Amodei, Co-Founder and President of Anthropic, said, “Small businesses make up nearly half the American economy, but they’ve never had the resources of bigger companies. AI is the first technology that can finally close that gap, which is why we’re launching Claude for Small Business, alongside training and partnerships to make sure AI shows up for the entrepreneurs and communities who need it most.”
The solution is currently available through a contact-sales model, with interested businesses able to request demos directly from Anthropic. The company is also offering free half-day live training sessions and workshops for the product starting May 14 in Chicago.
The launch follows Anthropic’s recent push to expand its enterprise-focused AI services, signaling a broader strategy to diversify its offerings across different business segments.
