Abhishek Ashat takes charge of marketing for Himalaya across Middle East, North Africa, and Russia

In this role, Ashat will lead brand and marketing strategy across these regions, overseeing Face Care, Personal Care, and Baby categories. He will be responsible for driving consumer engagement, strengthening brand equity, and accelerating commercial growth across diverse markets where the company has built strong consumer trust over decades.

Before this appointment, Ashat served as General Manager Marketing – Beauty and Personal Care at Himalaya Wellness Company. He managed a ₹1,300+ crore segment with market leadership, handling product development, market positioning, end-to-end operations, category growth, innovation, P&L ownership, consumer insights, and cross-functional collaboration, along with sustainability and compliance initiatives.

Earlier, he was Brand Marketing Head at The Good Glamm Group, leading brand marketing for The Moms Co, Sirona, and BabyChakra. His work included driving revenue and profit growth, leading campaigns, developing IP, launching new products, expanding into international markets, and strengthening brand positioning.

Prior to that, Ashat worked as Senior Brand Marketing Manager at Reckitt, managing brands such as Mortein and Finish. He focused on revenue growth, profitability, innovation, purpose-led campaigns, market expansion strategies, and partnerships.

He also held key roles at Britannia Industries Limited, managing brands including Britannia Good Day and Britannia 5050, where he led brand strategy, P&L management, consumer campaigns, and category growth. Earlier in his career, he worked with The Kraft Heinz Company on brands such as Complan, Complan NutriGro, Complan Memory, and Heinz Multigrain Drink.

Ashat holds an MBA in Finance and Marketing from Indian Institute of Management Lucknow, strengthening his expertise in business and marketing leadership.
