Healthium Medtech has appointed Gaurav Goel as its Chief Executive Officer and Managing Director.
With extensive experience in global medical devices, commercial leadership, corporate strategy, mergers and acquisitions, international expansion, and financial management, Gaurav will lead the company’s next phase of growth and strengthen its mission of delivering precision medical technology to patients worldwide.
Before joining Healthium Medtech, Gaurav spent more than 11 years at Sahajanand Medical Technologies, where he held several senior global leadership positions. Most recently, he served as Chief Commercial Officer, leading global sales, marketing, commercial P&L, strategic alliances, finished goods supply chain, and brand development across the company’s interventional cardiology and structural heart portfolio.
Earlier, he was President – Structural Heart and Global Business Unit Head, overseeing global business operations, product strategy, budgeting, long-term planning, and the development of the company’s transcatheter aortic valve implantation business. He also served as Senior Vice President – Corporate Strategy, driving business development, cross-border mergers and acquisitions, post-merger integration, and long-term business planning.
Gaurav began his journey at Sahajanand Medical Technologies as Vice President – Europe, where he led the company’s expansion across Germany, France, Spain, and Switzerland, while supporting the establishment of an R&D centre, manufacturing facility, and logistics hub in Galway, Ireland.
Prior to this, he spent more than 3 years at Accenture, leading strategy consulting engagements across market entry, mergers and acquisitions, operating model design, cost optimisation, and digital transformation. Earlier in his career, he worked with First National Bank of Omaha, completed a Strategy and Finance Leadership Development assignment at Walmart, and began his professional journey as a Project Lead at Infosys Technologies.
With leadership experience spanning medical devices, consulting, banking, retail, and technology, Gaurav brings strong expertise in global business growth, commercial strategy, operational excellence, and business transformation.
