IndusInd General Insurance has elevated Pravin Patil to the position of Senior Vice President – Information Technology, strengthening its technology leadership as the company continues to advance digital innovation and customer-centric transformation.
In his expanded role, Patil will continue to lead the company’s technology strategy, IT infrastructure, cybersecurity, digital transformation, and innovation initiatives, supporting its technology-first vision and long-term growth.
Patil brings more than 28 years of experience in information technology, infrastructure management, cybersecurity, and enterprise transformation. He has built a strong track record of leading large-scale technology operations across the insurance and financial services sectors.
He has been associated with IndusInd General Insurance, formerly Reliance General Insurance, for more than 14 years. Before this elevation, he served as Vice President – Information Technology, Head – IT Infrastructure, and Chief IT Security Officer. During his tenure, he led key initiatives in IT governance, infrastructure modernization, cybersecurity, digital innovation, and enterprise technology strategy, helping strengthen the company’s secure, scalable, and customer-focused digital insurance services.
Prior to joining IndusInd General Insurance, Patil was Manager – IT at Angel Broking Ltd., where he managed large-scale IT operations and technology initiatives. Earlier in his career, he held leadership roles at 3i Infotech, Magnanimous Systems Pvt. Ltd., Kalinfo Computer Services Pvt. Ltd., PCMS, Esdee Business Machines, and Corporate Infosystems Pvt. Ltd., gaining extensive experience in enterprise infrastructure, systems administration, IT consulting, and technology operations.
His elevation reflects IndusInd General Insurance’s continued investment in strengthening its technology capabilities as it accelerates digital transformation, enhances cybersecurity, and delivers innovative insurance solutions.
