Samsung Galaxy M47 benchmark listing hints at Snapdragon 6 Gen 3 chipset

Samsung’s upcoming Galaxy M47 smartphone has surfaced again online, adding to speculation about its possible launch in India and Nepal. The device was recently spotted on the Geekbench benchmarking platform, revealing several expected specifications and performance details.

The smartphone reportedly appeared with the model number SM-M476B. Earlier, the device was also listed on the GSMA database under the model number SM-M476B/DS and was later seen on Samsung’s internal test servers in India and Nepal, indicating that the launch could happen soon in both markets.

According to a post on X by tipster Abhishek Yadav (@yabhishekhd), the Samsung Galaxy M47 may be powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 6 Gen 3 processor. The chipset is expected to include 4 efficiency cores clocked at 1.8GHz and 4 performance cores with speeds reaching up to 2.4GHz.

The benchmark listing also suggests the phone could feature an Adreno 710 GPU and support 5G connectivity. The handset is said to run on Android 16 and may come with at least 7.13GB RAM, which is likely to be marketed as 8GB RAM.

In the Geekbench AI OpenCL test, the Galaxy M47 reportedly scored 2,256 points for GPU performance.

Samsung has not officially confirmed the launch of the smartphone yet. However, repeated appearances across certification and testing platforms continue to point toward an upcoming release.

The Galaxy M47 is expected to succeed the Samsung Galaxy M44, which launched in 2023. The earlier model featured a 6.58-inch Full-HD+ LCD display, a 50-megapixel triple rear camera setup, an 8-megapixel front camera, and a 5,000mAh battery.
