This move highlights Aafreen’s steady growth within the organization over nearly 11 years.

In her new role, Aafreen will lead direct-to-customer strategy, leveraging her deep experience across bancassurance, product management, customer insights, market analysis, and business relationship management.

Prior to this, she served as Head – Center of Excellence Bancassurance, where she led strategic initiatives across bancassurance operations, product rollout, business analysis, and customer-focused growth.

Over the years, she has held multiple roles within the company, including Product Head – Bancassurance (HDFC Bank Relationship), Product Manager – Home Vertical, Assistant Manager – Market Analysis and Customer Insights, and Management Trainee – Bancassurance, building a strong foundation across functions.

Before joining Bajaj General Insurance, Aafreen worked with Vodafone India Services Pvt. Ltd. and Tulip Telecom. During this period, she developed early expertise in business development, market research, software engineering, data analysis, and internal systems.

She has completed a Leadership and Management Program from IIM Calcutta and a Certificate Program in Project Management from IIT Delhi, strengthening her leadership and execution capabilities.’
