Voith Group has appointed Rajashree Sengupta as Chief People Officer, India, giving her a strategic mandate to shape the organisation’s people agenda and strengthen its human capital priorities in the Indian market.
Sengupta brings more than 10 years of experience across human resources, people strategy, leadership development, employee engagement and organisational communication. Her background combines strategic HR expertise with a business-focused approach to people leadership.
She joins Voith Group after more than 8 years with Stanley Black & Decker, Inc., where she most recently served as Director – Human Resources, India & South East Asia. During her tenure, she focused on advancing people practices across diverse and dynamic business environments.
Earlier, Sengupta held key HR leadership roles with GE and Alstom, including India Head – Learning & Development and Director – Human Resource.
Across these roles, she has developed expertise in building leadership capabilities, strengthening employee experiences and aligning people strategies with broader organisational objectives.
Her appointment at Voith Group marks another step in a career focused on building high-performing cultures, developing talent and enabling organisations through people-led transformation.
