Bringing extensive international experience across digital products, e-commerce and technology, Harsh Agarwal has been appointed Managing Director, Customer Experience & Engagement at NatWest Group.

Agarwal joins NatWest Group after holding several senior global leadership roles at IKEA, including Chief Omnichannel Officer, Chief Product Officer and Vice President of Product Management for the Fulfillment domain.

His leadership experience also includes board and advisory responsibilities with Geomagical Labs and Taskrabbit. He has also held council roles across IKEA’s operations in the US, India, UK and Spain.

Earlier in his career, Agarwal held senior product and engineering positions at Target, including Director of Product Management and Director of Engineering.

His professional journey also includes roles with Microchip Technology Inc., Zilog, Immedient Corporation, Integrated Information Systems and Symix.

Across these assignments, Agarwal has built experience in product management, engineering, e-commerce, customer journeys, omnichannel strategy and technology-led business transformation.

At NatWest Group, his new mandate places customer experience and engagement at the centre of his leadership responsibilities, drawing on his global experience in digital products, technology and customer-focused business models.
