Vivo X Fold 6 set for global rollout after China launch

Following its recent launch in China, Vivo has confirmed that the X Fold 6 will soon make its way to select global markets. While the company has not revealed the complete launch schedule, the announcement signals that its latest flagship foldable is preparing for an international rollout.

Vivo has confirmed that the Vivo X Fold 6 will launch outside China “soon”. However, the company has not disclosed which countries will receive the smartphone or whether it will be introduced in India.

The X Fold 6 will not be Vivo’s first foldable to launch globally. The Vivo X Fold 3 Pro debuted in India in June 2024, around 3 months after its China launch. Similarly, the Vivo X Fold 5 arrived in India and other international markets in July 2025, about 1 month after its China debut.

The Vivo X Fold 6 was launched in China on June 26 with a starting price of CNY 7,999 (approximately ₹1,11,000) for the 12GB RAM + 256GB storage variant. The top-end model with 16GB RAM and 1TB storage is priced at CNY 10,999 (around ₹1,53,000). It is currently available for pre-order in Blue Hole, Polar Night and Salt Lake colour options.

The foldable smartphone is powered by the 3nm octa-core MediaTek Dimensity 9500 Super chipset with a peak clock speed of 4.21GHz. It features an 8.02-inch AMOLED foldable display with a resolution of 2,504 × 2,312 pixels, Samsung M14 luminescent material and a refresh rate of up to 120Hz. The outer cover display measures 6.51 inches with a resolution of 1,120 × 2,528 pixels.

For photography, the Vivo X Fold 6 comes with a Zeiss-tuned triple rear camera setup led by a 200-megapixel primary sensor. The smartphone is backed by a 7,000mAh battery and supports wired fast charging along with 40W wireless charging.

Vivo is yet to announce the official global launch timeline, but the confirmation suggests the premium foldable will soon be available in additional international markets.
