In her new leadership role, Shruti will lead the company’s employee experience strategy and people services agenda, focusing on employee engagement, workplace experience, service excellence and strengthening organizational culture across the business.
Before this promotion, Shruti served as General Manager – Head, Talent Management at Airtel, where she led key talent initiatives covering leadership development, succession planning, performance management and capability building to strengthen the organization’s talent pipeline.
Since joining Airtel in 2018, Shruti has held several leadership positions, including Diversity and Inclusion Lead, Senior Manager – HR Business Partner, Manager – HR Business Partner, Manager – Talent Acquisition, and Talent Acquisition Lead. During her tenure, she played a significant role in strengthening talent acquisition, advancing inclusive workplace practices, partnering with business leaders and driving HR initiatives that supported business growth and employee engagement.
Before Airtel, Shruti spent nearly 3 years at Aircel, where she held roles including Assistant Manager – Corporate HR, Assistant Manager – Talent Acquisition and Talent Management, and Management Trainee – HR. She managed employee lifecycle processes, talent acquisition, employee relations, performance management, engagement initiatives and onboarding while supporting business expansion and sales ramp-up programs. She began her career as a Management Trainee – HR at KPMG India, where she gained experience in talent acquisition and employer branding.
With more than 11 years of HR leadership experience, Shruti has built expertise across employee experience, talent management, HR business partnering, diversity and inclusion, talent acquisition, performance management, employee engagement, leadership development, organizational capability and people strategy. Her promotion reflects Airtel’s focus on strengthening its people-first culture while supporting its continued growth and digital transformation.
