Vodafone Idea has introduced a new benefit for its postpaid customers by partnering with Spotify to provide access to Spotify Premium at no additional cost. The collaboration brings premium music streaming features to eligible Vi subscribers as part of their mobile plans.
Under the offer, eligible Vi postpaid users can activate a 3-month Spotify Premium subscription through the Vi App. The complimentary benefit is available only to customers who have not previously used Spotify Premium.
After the free subscription period ends, users can continue using Spotify Premium through Vi’s Add to Bill service by paying Rs. 139 per month. This allows the subscription fee to be added directly to their monthly mobile bill.
Spotify Premium offers access to more than 100 million songs and over 7 million podcast titles with ad-free streaming. Subscribers can also download music and podcasts for offline listening, enjoy unlimited skips, on-demand playback, queue control, and audio streaming quality of up to 320 kbps.
The partnership strengthens Vi’s postpaid offerings by adding a premium entertainment service alongside its connectivity plans. It also marks Spotify’s first collaboration with an Indian telecom operator to bundle its Premium subscription with mobile services.
