Strengthening its leadership team, boAt has promoted Vedansh Kumar to the role of Chief Marketing Officer (CMO). The appointment marks a significant milestone in Kumar’s journey with the company, where he has been leading brand marketing initiatives since joining in August 2023 as Head of Brand Marketing.

Before assuming the CMO position, Kumar played a key role in shaping and driving the brand’s marketing strategy, contributing to its continued growth and market presence.

Sharing the announcement on LinkedIn, Kumar said, “There are brands you admire from a distance, and then there are brands that make you want to be in the room. boAt Lifestyle was always the second kind for me.

It felt alive in a way most brands spend years trying to manufacture. So when the opportunity came to work with the team that actually built it, I didn’t think twice. Today, it means a lot to share that I’m now Chief Marketing Officer of this incredible company.”

Prior to joining boAt, Kumar served as Creative Lead at Zomato. Over the years, he has built extensive experience across advertising, branding, content, and marketing through leadership and creative roles at Dentsu Impact, Humour Me, MullenLowe Lintas Group, Publicis Groupe, and J. Walter Thompson Worldwide.

Kumar holds a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from Delhi University and has also completed a diploma in Video Game Designing from Maya Academy.

With more than 10 years of industry experience, he has worked on a wide range of campaigns and creative projects across television, print, digital platforms, and branded content. His expertise spans multiple sectors, making him a seasoned marketing and brand-building professional.

The elevation reflects boAt’s confidence in Kumar’s leadership and his ability to further strengthen the company’s marketing vision in an increasingly competitive consumer technology market.
