A new strategic collaboration is set to expand global technology delivery from India. Trigent Software, a US-based technology services company and Global Capability Centre (GCC) enabler with over 3 decades of experience, has partnered with Codec, a digital transformation consultancy headquartered in Dublin. The partnership aims to establish Global Capability Centres in Bengaluru and Hyderabad.
These centres will act as Codec’s primary technology delivery hubs in India and will support the company’s next phase of international expansion.
Codec is among Ireland’s largest Microsoft Cloud Solution Providers and operates as a full-stack IT consultancy. The company brings more than 40 years of enterprise technology experience across Ireland, the UK, Poland and Germany. Its services cover artificial intelligence, application modernization, cloud infrastructure, customer experience and managed services. The new India GCCs will tap into one of the world’s largest technology talent pools, enabling Codec to scale its global delivery and innovation capabilities.
The Trigent–Codec collaboration follows a Build-Operate-Transfer (BOT) model. India was selected strategically as the location for this expansion. The country has evolved from a delivery destination to a global centre for enterprise innovation.
With more than 1,700 GCCs and a vast technology workforce, cities like Bengaluru and Hyderabad are globally known for their strong concentration of enterprise-level Microsoft talent. This makes them key locations for Codec’s GCC development strategy.
“As the execution partner, Trigent will build and operationalize both the innovation centres, managing talent acquisition, compliance, governance, and delivery operations,” said Rohail Qadri, President of Global Capability Center (GCC) & Professional Services at Trigent. “From day one, the focus will be on stabilizing the setup while embedding Codec’s innovation-first DNA into each local team from the ground up. By the time the transfer happens, Codec’s India teams will already be central to how the company operates globally.”
Codec’s India teams will take ownership of end-to-end delivery for complex client engagements and work closely with European teams from the beginning. Professionals with Microsoft certifications and strong enterprise delivery experience will find opportunities focused on long-term career development.
“India has the talent density that our next phase of growth demands,” said Ronan Stafford, Chief Executive Officer of Codec. “The professionals who join us here will be part of a company that has invested in its people’s long-term development for over 4 decades.” By the time the transition to full Codec ownership is complete, they will already be integral to our operations.
The establishment of these GCCs marks a major shift in how Codec plans to deliver services globally, with Bengaluru and Hyderabad playing a central role in the company’s future strategy.
