Aperam launches Hyderabad GCC to support global digital operations

Aperam has expanded its digital and technology footprint in India with the opening of a new global capability centre in Hyderabad. The facility will support the company’s worldwide operations and serve as a hub for developing digital solutions for its global business.

The Hyderabad GCC will work across several key areas, including process excellence, engineering and operations, digital transformation, data analytics and shared services.

Announcing the launch on LinkedIn, Manoj Kumar, Group Chief Information Officer and Artificial Intelligence Lead at Aperam, said the centre will play an important role in strengthening the company’s digital capabilities.

“Scaling our digital backbone is key to driving operational excellence. Expanding into Hyderabad allows us to tap into incredible local talent to accelerate our digital transformation journey. The teams here will be directly building the digital solutions which will create value for Aperam globally,” Kumar said.

The new facility has been designed to bring together talent, technology and collaboration. Teams based in Hyderabad will work on digital initiatives that support Aperam’s global operations and help accelerate its transformation efforts.

The launch further adds to the growing number of multinational companies choosing Hyderabad as a destination for global capability centres, especially for technology, data and digital transformation functions.
