Vasudha B. has joined The Trade Desk as India HR Lead, bringing more than a decade of experience across human resources, people strategy and business partnering.
Her expertise spans HR business partnering, workforce planning, talent management, employee engagement, leadership development, organisational effectiveness and DEI. She also brings an earlier background in technology to her new people leadership role.
Vasudha joins The Trade Desk after 4 years with adidas, where she served as Senior Manager HRBP – adidas Tech. She partnered with business leaders supporting around 500 employees, driving strategic and operational people initiatives across workforce planning, talent acquisition, succession planning, leadership development, performance management, employee relations and organisational effectiveness.
At adidas, she also contributed to local and global initiatives covering change management, diversity and inclusion, organisational design, compensation and employee experience. Her work included strengthening talent pipelines and developing people strategies to support business growth.
Before adidas, Vasudha spent nearly 4 years at Walmart Global Tech India as Manager – People Partner, supporting around 1,000 employees. She worked on talent management, performance management, employee engagement, retention, succession planning and leadership development, along with DEI, manager effectiveness, HR analytics and high-potential talent programmes.
Earlier, she was HRBP – North at Häfele India, where she supported business and sales leaders across recruitment, performance management, restructuring, coaching, workforce planning and organisational development.
Her previous HR roles included positions at STIC Travel Group, PolicyBazaar.com, Nano Web Tech and GATI-KWE, where she built experience across HR operations, onboarding, payroll, statutory compliance, performance management, learning and development, employee engagement and succession planning.
Vasudha began her career as a Web Software Engineer at L&T Infotech before moving into human resources. She holds an MBA in Operations and HR from Thapar Institute of Engineering & Technology, completed between 2009 and 2011.
Her combination of technology exposure and extensive HR experience adds a broad foundation to her new mandate at The Trade Desk.
