
Bharti Enterprises Founder and Chairman Sunil Bharti Mittal met Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu on Sunday at the Chief Minister’s residence near Vijayawada to discuss plans for strengthening the state’s digital infrastructure.
Sharing details of the meeting in a social media post, Naidu said the discussions focused on improving digital connectivity and supporting the state’s technology ecosystem through key infrastructure initiatives.
According to the Chief Minister, both leaders discussed expanding last-mile internet connectivity and increasing mobile tower coverage to improve access to digital services across the state. They also explored opportunities to promote investments in data centres and the development of an undersea internet cable landing station.
The meeting further covered measures to improve the ease of doing business for mobile service operators, with the aim of supporting faster deployment of digital infrastructure and enhancing connectivity for citizens across Andhra Pradesh.
