Shipra Srivastava takes charge of marketing at Spotify India to drive growth and engagement

In her new role, Shipra will lead marketing for Spotify India, driving brand growth, consumer engagement, go-to-market strategy, media, partnerships, and market initiatives. Her focus will be on deepening Spotify’s connection with Indian listeners, artists, creators, and advertisers.

Shipra has been with Spotify for over 7 years. Prior to this elevation, she served as Head of Marketing – Interim, where she led marketing for the India business. She also held the role of Director of Media, overseeing media strategy, owned platform marketing, and brand partnerships, contributing to Spotify’s growth in the Indian market.

Earlier at Spotify, she played a key role in shaping go-to-market strategy and media leadership as the platform expanded its presence in India’s audio streaming ecosystem. Her experience spans media planning, brand partnerships, marketing leadership, and consumer engagement.

Before joining Spotify, Shipra served as Head of Marketing at BIG FM, where she led marketing strategy and brand initiatives in the radio and media sector.

Prior to that, she spent over 5 years at OLX Group, holding roles including Director – Marketing, Senior Marketing Manager – Media, and Marketing Manager. She worked across marketing strategy, media planning, brand growth, consumer campaigns, and go-to-market execution.

Shipra early career includes roles at ZenithOptimedia and Mediacom, where she built strong expertise in media strategy, campaign execution, and advertising.
