Saudi Arabia’s sports, entertainment and hospitality sectors continue to evolve, with Sela appointing experienced HR executive Abdulgader Al-Amoudi as its new Chief People & Culture.
Al-Amoudi brings more than 22 years of professional experience across human resources, corporate affairs, organisational leadership and business operations. His career includes senior leadership roles at several major organisations in Saudi Arabia.
In his new position, he will lead Sela’s People & Culture function. His responsibilities will draw on his experience in HR strategy, organisational development, talent management and corporate leadership to support the company’s business priorities. The appointment comes as Sela expands its presence in sports, entertainment and experiential destinations.
Before joining Sela, Al-Amoudi served as Chief People and Shared Services Officer at Remat Al-Riyadh Development Co. from September 2024 to August 2026. He previously held the role of Chief Human Resources Officer at another organisation and served as CHRO at Panda Retail Company – Savola Group, where he contributed to people leadership and organisational management.
Earlier, Al-Amoudi held senior HR positions at Kuehne+Nagel as Human Resources Director for Saudi Arabia and Bahrain, and at Samsung Electronics as Group Director of Human Resources & Corporate Affairs. His career also includes HR leadership roles at Sunbulah Group and Procter & Gamble. Before moving into HR leadership, he worked in engineering and project management at Siemens and Saudi Electricity Company.
Al-Amoudi has also held governance positions at Al-Ittihad Club Company, serving on its Board of Directors, Executive Committee, and Nomination and Remuneration Committee.
His appointment brings together extensive experience in people management, corporate governance and business operations across multiple industries.
