Samsung is bringing its latest Galaxy F series smartphone to India on August 3, with the Galaxy F70 Pro 5G confirmed to offer a 120Hz AMOLED display, a 50-megapixel main camera and a 6,000mAh battery. The company has also revealed the phone’s pricing, variants, colours and key specifications ahead of the launch.
The Samsung Galaxy F70 Pro 5G will start at Rs. 25,999 for the 6GB RAM + 128GB storage variant. The 8GB + 128GB model will cost Rs. 29,999, while the top-end 8GB + 256GB version will be priced at Rs. 34,999.
These are the retail prices, with Samsung confirming that exclusive launch offers will also be available. The phone will be sold through the Samsung India online store and Flipkart. It will be available in Alpha Black and Aura Green colour options.
The Galaxy F70 Pro 5G will feature a flat Full-HD+ Super AMOLED display with a refresh rate of up to 120Hz and Corning Gorilla Glass Victus+ protection. It will run on an unspecified Qualcomm Snapdragon chipset, paired with LPDDR5x RAM and UFS 3.1 storage.
For photography, the phone will feature a triple rear camera setup led by a 50-megapixel primary sensor with optical image stabilisation. It will be accompanied by a 5-megapixel ultrawide camera and a 2-megapixel macro sensor, along with an LED flash. The front will feature an HDR selfie camera.
The handset will support video recording of up to 4K resolution. It will also pack a 6,000mAh battery with 45W wired fast charging support.
Samsung claims the battery can deliver more than 24 hours of YouTube video streaming, more than 8 hours of gaming or 12 hours of social media scrolling on a single charge.
