iQOO Z11 India debut nears with Dimensity 7500 Turbo and curved display

The India debut of the iQOO Z11 appears to be getting closer after the smartphone brand shared a cryptic social media post hinting at the device’s arrival. The phone was launched in China in March and is now expected to reach India in August with some key changes from the Chinese version.

In a post on X on Friday, the company teased an upcoming device using 3 binary code strings: “01011010”, “00110001”, and “00110001”. When decoded, the codes spell “Z”, “1”, and “1”, pointing to the iQOO Z11. The company has not yet confirmed the exact India launch date, chipset, camera setup or battery details.

Industry sources have indicated that the iQOO Z11 could launch in India in August. The Indian version is expected to be the first phone in the country to feature the octa-core MediaTek Dimensity 7500 Turbo chipset. This would replace the MediaTek Dimensity 8500 SoC used in the Chinese model.

The India variant is also expected to feature a 3D curved display, marking another difference from the Chinese version.

In China, the iQOO Z11 comes with a 6.83-inch AMOLED display offering a 2,800 x 1,260-pixel resolution, up to a 165Hz refresh rate and a 300Hz touch sampling rate. The panel covers 100% of the DCI-P3 colour gamut and supports HDR content.

The Chinese model is available with up to 16GB of RAM and 512GB of internal storage. It is offered in Canglang Fuguang, Skylight White and Polar Night Black colour options, translated from Chinese.

For thermal management, the phone uses a 7K Ice Dome VC Liquid Cooling system designed to reduce overheating and performance throttling during demanding tasks.

The Chinese variant features a dual rear camera setup with a 50-megapixel primary sensor and a 2-megapixel secondary camera. A 16-megapixel selfie camera is placed on the front.
