The Rajasthan Police will observe September as a public awareness month under the statewide “Cyber Surakshit Rajasthan” campaign to educate people about online fraud and cybercrime, officials said on Tuesday.

The month-long campaign, being organised on the directions of DGP Rajeev Kumar Sharma, will focus on preventive measures and ways to stay safe from cyber fraud, police said.

Additional Director General of Police (Cyber Crime) V K Singh said that superintendent of police-I (R4C) has been appointed state nodal officer for the campaign, while an officer of the additional superintendent of police rank will act as nodal officer in each district.
