Visa promotes Poojyata Khattar to lead Issuing Solutions Value Added Services across Asia Pacific

Strengthening its leadership in digital payments and value-added services, Visa has promoted Poojyata Khattar to Vice President, Head of Issuing Solutions Value Added Services (VAS), Asia Pacific. In her new role, she will oversee Visa’s regional Issuing VAS portfolio, helping banks, issuers, and partners drive growth and differentiation through data-driven insights, digital capabilities, loyalty solutions, network capabilities, and platforms such as Pismo.

Poojyata brings extensive experience across product strategy, business development, strategic partnerships, go-to-market execution, digital payments, fintech collaborations, and operations. Her promotion comes as Visa continues to expand its digital payments ecosystem and strengthen value-added services across the Asia Pacific region.

Before this appointment, she served as Head of Product and Solutions, Regional Southeast Asia at Visa. In this role, she was responsible for product strategy, thought leadership, and long-term growth planning for Visa’s product portfolio across Southeast Asia. Her efforts helped advance digital payment capabilities and support product-led growth across the region.

During her tenure at Visa, Poojyata also held several leadership positions, including Senior Director, Head of Global Digital & Fintech Partners, Asia Pacific; Global Accounts Lead, Digital Partnerships & Fintechs; Accounts Director, Digital Partnerships & Fintechs; and Director, Program Management, Digital Partnerships. Across these roles, she managed strategic fintech and digital partner relationships, led commercial engagements, supported new market and product launches, and played a key role in launching and scaling Visa’s Fintech Fast Track program across Asia Pacific.

Prior to Visa, she worked with PayPal as Regional Lead, PayPal Protection Programs, APAC, and earlier as Sales Strategy & Programs Manager, APAC Merchant Services. Her responsibilities included expanding protection programs, driving regional sales strategies, supporting go-to-market initiatives, and leading post-merger sales enablement and operational programs for Braintree and PayPal across the region.

Earlier in her career, Poojyata served as Director, Strategy & Chief of Staff to the CEO at Delhivery, contributing to business growth and strategic initiatives. She also gained experience at The D. E. Shaw Group, where she worked on private equity advisory, research, analysis, and investment-related functions in India.

Poojyata’s promotion highlights Visa’s confidence in her leadership and ability to drive innovation-led growth. With deep expertise across payments, fintech ecosystems, strategy, and partnerships, she is well positioned to lead the next phase of issuing innovation and value-added services growth across Asia Pacific.
