Siddharth Sureka has joined PMI Electro Mobility as Chief Financial Officer (CFO), taking charge of the finance function as the company enters its next phase of growth.
In his new role, Sureka will focus on business growth, financial strategy, governance, value creation and process automation. He brings more than 19 years of professional experience across corporate finance, financial reporting, audits, taxation, working capital management, fundraising and financial transformation.
Sureka joins PMI Electro Mobility after more than 7 years with Greenpanel Industries Limited, where he most recently served as Head – Vice President – Corporate Finance between July 2019 and August 2026.
At Greenpanel, his responsibilities included SAP-based financial reporting and consolidation, Board and investor presentations, banking and working capital management, regulatory compliance, audits and financial risk management.
His tenure included Greenpanel’s successful listing following its demerger from Greenply, securing EUR 32 million in fresh ECB borrowing for an MDF expansion project, restructuring INR 200 crore in working capital facilities and managing project capitalisation of more than INR 1,500 crore.
Sureka also worked on financial process automation and operational efficiency. He centralised vendor payments through SAP integration, reducing processing time by 40% through host-to-host automation. He also contributed to the implementation of SAP DMS, GST e-invoicing and freight expense automation in collaboration with technology teams.
His responsibilities further included statutory audits under SEBI LODR regulations, along with income tax, transfer pricing and GST audits and assessments. He also mentored and coached a team of more than 20 professionals across financial reporting and system processes.
Before Greenpanel, Sureka spent more than 6 years with Greenply Industries Limited as Senior Manager – Corporate Finance. He worked on consolidated Ind-AS financial statements, demerger-related restatements, statutory audits and the implementation of Ind-AS and ICDS frameworks.
Sureka began his career at AVB & Associates, where he spent more than 5 years and rose to the position of Senior Audit Manager before moving into corporate finance.
Commenting on his move, Sureka said he looks forward to contributing to PMI Electro Mobility’s next phase of growth and its role in shaping India’s electric mobility landscape.
As CFO, he will bring his experience across corporate finance, financial reporting, governance, compliance, capital management and process automation to PMI Electro Mobility.
