
Jayaram Karthik has joined Pine Labs as Chief Operations Officer (COO), taking charge of operations and merchant experiences across India and international markets.
Karthik brings more than 25 years of experience across operations, risk, analytics and technology. In his new role, he will focus on strengthening Pine Labs’ operational capabilities as the company continues to expand its global presence.
Pine Labs currently operates across more than 20 countries. Karthik will work towards building a more unified operational model across these markets, with a focus on improving processes and merchant experiences.

Before joining Pine Labs, Karthik held roles at American Express, Citibank, Amazon, Tata and Razorpay. His experience spans operational leadership, risk management, analytics and technology, along with working across high-growth businesses.

His appointment comes as Pine Labs looks to strengthen its operating framework across markets and create greater consistency in how it serves merchants globally.
