Ahead of their official debut, Oppo has shared major details about its upcoming tablets, the Pad 5 Pro and Pad Mini, highlighting their design, performance, and battery capabilities.
Both tablets are set to launch in China on April 21 and will run on ColorOS 16 based on Android 16. They will be powered by Snapdragon chipsets and will be available in multiple RAM and storage configurations.
The Oppo Pad 5 Pro is positioned as a flagship device. It will feature a 13.2-inch display with 3.4K resolution, 1000 nits peak brightness, and a 144Hz refresh rate. The tablet is powered by a Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset and packs a 13,380mAh battery with 67W fast charging support. Oppo claims it can deliver up to 20 hours of video playback on a single charge. The device is 5.94mm thick and weighs 672g. It also supports a floating keyboard with a backlit keypad, sold separately, and includes Hi-Fi audio.
The Oppo Pad Mini is designed as a compact option. It will come with an 8.8-inch OLED display offering 2.5K resolution and a 144Hz refresh rate, along with slim bezels. The tablet will be powered by a Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 chipset and will include an 8,000mAh battery. It is claimed to offer up to 19.5 hours of video playback and up to 22.7 hours of reading time. The device weighs 279g. A Soft Light version with an anti-glare display will also be available.
In terms of colours, the Pad 5 Pro will be offered in Dawn Gold, Mocha Brown, and Monet Purple. The Pad Mini will come in Mint Green, Monet Purple, and Space Grey.
Both tablets will be available in 8GB + 256GB, 12GB + 256GB, and 12GB + 512GB configurations. The Pad 5 Pro will also have an additional 16GB + 512GB option.
The launch event will also feature the Oppo Enco Clip 2 and Oppo Watch X3 Mini.
