As anticipation builds around its India debut, the Motorola Edge 70 Pro has surfaced on a benchmarking platform, offering a closer look at its expected performance and specifications.
According to a tipster post, the upcoming smartphone has been listed on Geekbench, suggesting it could feature 12GB of RAM and run on Android 16. The listing indicates that the handset may be powered by an octa core ARMv8-based MediaTek Dimensity 8500 chipset.
The processor is expected to include 4 efficiency cores clocked at 2.2GHz, 3 performance cores at 3.2GHz, and a prime core reaching up to 3.4GHz. It is also likely to be paired with a Mali-G720 MC8 GPU. In benchmark tests, the device reportedly scored 1,727 points in single core performance and 6,563 points in multi core performance.
Earlier, a dedicated microsite for a new Motorola smartphone went live on an e-commerce platform, hinting at the design and colour options of the Edge 70 Pro. The device is expected to go on sale via Flipkart and may be available in 3 finishes — blue with a “tailored-fabric finish”, green with a “satin-luxe finish”, and white with a “marble finish”.
Design leaks suggest the phone will feature a triple rear camera setup placed inside a square module. It is also expected to come with a curved display and a hole punch cutout for the front camera. Additionally, the handset has been spotted on the HDR10+ certification database, alongside the Motorola Edge 70 Pro+.
The Motorola Edge 70 Pro is expected to launch in India soon, with more details likely to be revealed in the coming days.
