With its official debut just hours away, new details about Oppo’s upcoming flagship smartphone have surfaced, highlighting major upgrades in performance, display, and battery.
Oppo has confirmed key specifications of the Oppo Find X9 Ultra through teasers ahead of its launch on April 21 in China and global markets. The device will feature a 2K resolution display with a 144Hz refresh rate, offering pixel-level Gamma correction and built using X3 flagship luminescent materials.
Powering the smartphone is the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset, positioning it among the top-tier performance devices. The handset is also set to deliver a major battery upgrade, packing a 7,050mAh ‘Glacier’ silicon-carbon battery, compared to the 6,100mAh unit in the previous Oppo Find X8 Ultra. It will support 100W wired and 50W wireless charging.
The device will include dual stereo speakers and a Bionic Vibration Motor. It is built for durability with IP66, IP68, and IP69 ratings for dust and water resistance. It also features dual-sided crystal shield glass and carries Swiss SGS Five-Star Drop and Shock Resistance certification.
In terms of cameras, the phone will offer a Hasselblad-tuned quad rear camera setup. This includes a 200-megapixel primary sensor, a 200-megapixel portrait telephoto lens, a 50-megapixel telephoto shooter, and a 50-megapixel ultra-wide camera. On the front, it will feature a 50-megapixel camera for selfies and video calls.
The Oppo Find X9 Ultra will be available in three colour options: Polar Glaciers, Rongsha Canyon, and Tundra. It will come in multiple configurations, including 12GB + 256GB, 12GB + 512GB, 16GB + 512GB, and 16GB + 1TB.
The smartphone will launch alongside the Oppo Find X9s and Oppo Find X9s Pro, expanding the brand’s premium lineup.
