Several Oppo and Xiaomi smartphones and tablets have reportedly become more expensive in India, with price increases of up to Rs. 5,000. The revisions affect models across flagship and mid-range segments, including the Oppo Find X9s, Xiaomi Pad 8, Redmi Pad 2 and Redmi 15A. The price changes apply to multiple RAM and storage variants and come amid rising memory component costs.
Oppo Find X9s price increase
According to tipster Sanju Chaudhary, the Oppo Find X9s has received a Rs. 5,000 increase on both configurations. The 12GB + 256GB model is now reportedly priced at Rs. 84,999, up from Rs. 79,999. The 12GB + 512GB variant has increased from Rs. 89,999 to Rs. 94,999.
Xiaomi Pad 8 and Redmi Pad 2 prices
The Xiaomi Pad 8 has also reportedly received a price revision. Its 12GB + 256GB variant now costs Rs. 46,999, compared with Rs. 43,999 earlier. The Nano Texture version has increased from Rs. 45,999 to Rs. 48,999.
For the Redmi Pad 2, the 4GB + 128GB Wi-Fi model is now reportedly priced at Rs. 19,999, up from Rs. 18,999. The 4GB + 128GB Cellular variant has increased from Rs. 19,999 to Rs. 20,999. The 6GB + 128GB Cellular model has moved from Rs. 22,999 to Rs. 23,999, while the 8GB + 256GB Cellular version has risen from Rs. 24,999 to Rs. 25,999.
Redmi 15A price changes
The Redmi 15A has seen revisions across all 4 configurations mentioned by the tipster. The 4GB + 64GB model has increased from Rs. 15,999 to Rs. 16,499. The 4GB + 128GB variant has moved from Rs. 17,499 to Rs. 18,499. The 6GB + 128GB model is now reportedly priced at Rs. 20,499, up from Rs. 19,499.
The brands had not officially announced the price changes at the time of writing. However, the updated prices were independently verified as listed on Oppo and Xiaomi’s India websites. Oppo and Xiaomi have also been contacted for comments on the revisions.
