Building anticipation for its upcoming launch, OnePlus has started teasing the OnePlus Buds Ace 3 in China, alongside the Ace 6 Ultra smartphone. Early previews highlight design details and key features of the new true wireless stereo (TWS) earphones.
In a post shared on Weibo, the company hinted that the OnePlus Buds Ace 3 will be unveiled later this month. The teaser shows the earbuds in black and white colour options. The design appears familiar, featuring an in-ear style with rounded stems, angled ear tips, and a glossy finish. The charging case has a compact, pebble-shaped design with a matte finish, a front LED indicator, and a horizontally opening lid.
The upcoming earbuds are claimed to support up to 55dB active noise cancellation (ANC). They are also expected to offer up to 54 hours of total battery life, including the charging case. OnePlus added that the headset will include dedicated FPS tuning to improve in-game audio cues.
The new model is expected to bring upgrades over the OnePlus Buds Ace 2, which was launched in China in December 2024. The previous version was priced at CNY 179 (roughly ₹2,100) and came in Flash Blue and Submarine Black colour options.
The Buds Ace 2 features an in-ear design with rounded stems, touch controls, and 12.4mm dynamic drivers supported by AI-backed dual microphones. It includes active noise cancellation, Bluetooth 5.4 connectivity with AAC and SBC codecs, dual-device connectivity, BassWave 2.0, and a 47ms low latency mode.
Each earbud packs a 58mAh battery, while the charging case has a 440mAh battery with USB Type-C charging. The device is claimed to deliver up to 12 hours of playback on a single charge and up to 43 hours with the case. It also carries an IP55 rating for dust and water resistance.
