SVKM’s Narsee Monjee Institute of Management Studies (NMIMS) has strengthened its leadership team with the appointment of Kritesh Taunk as Director of Marketing.

Kritesh brings more than 15 years of experience across marketing, digital platforms, and brand building. Over the course of his career, he has worked across industries including media, education, BFSI, travel, e-commerce, and consumer businesses, driving growth through integrated marketing strategies, digital transformation, and audience engagement initiatives.

Before joining NMIMS, Kritesh led the Marketing function at BIG FM, where he played a significant role in transforming the brand into a multi-platform, digital-first, and AI-enabled media ecosystem. His responsibilities included developing content-driven platforms across audio, video, podcasts, and emerging formats, while also creating integrated audience engagement programs and digital experiences.

Welcoming him to the institution, Dr. Sharad Mhaiskar, Provost (Administration), said, “We are pleased to welcome Kritesh to the NMIMS family. His diverse industry experience, digital-first mindset, and strategic approach to brand building will strengthen NMIMS’ positioning as a future-focused institution. We look forward to his contribution in driving innovative and impactful marketing and communication initiatives.”

Commenting on his appointment, Kritesh Taunk said, “SVKM’s NMIMS has built a strong reputation in higher education, backed by a legacy of excellence. My focus will be on contributing to its continued growth by strengthening brand presence, digital engagement, content strategy, and integrated marketing initiatives. The approach is to build on NMIMS’ strong foundation while further deepening its engagement with students, industry, and stakeholders.”

With this appointment, NMIMS aims to further enhance its marketing and digital communications strategy, drive stronger engagement across platforms, and reinforce its position as a progressive institution focused on the future of education.
