Nitin Singh has taken on an expanded leadership mandate at Havells India, stepping into the role of Business CFO – Lloyd and Lighting SBU and Head – Corporate Sustainability.
The appointment adds financial leadership for 2 strategic business units to his existing sustainability responsibilities after nearly 7 years with the company.
In his new role, Singh will oversee the financial functions for Havells’ Lloyd and Lighting strategic business units while continuing to lead the company’s corporate sustainability agenda. He previously served as Vice President and Head – Risk Management and Corporate Sustainability from April 2023 to July 2026.
Singh joined Havells India in 2019 as Associate Vice President & Head – Internal Audit. In 2022, he moved into the role of Joint Vice President and Head – Internal Audit and Corporate Sustainability before becoming Vice President in 2023. His journey within the company has covered internal audit, enterprise risk management, governance and corporate sustainability.
Before Havells, Singh spent around 13 years across professional services and consulting firms. He was Director at PwC India from 2017 to 2019, after spending more than 3 years as Associate Director at KPMG India. Earlier, he worked as Senior Manager at Protiviti and spent more than 7 years with Grant Thornton India LLP, progressing to Manager. His early career also included a role as Risk Analyst at GE.
Singh holds a postgraduate qualification in Accounting and Finance from Shri Ram College of Commerce (SRCC). His experience across finance, risk, internal audit and sustainability, spanning consulting and corporate environments, gives him a broad foundation for his expanded responsibilities at Havells India.
