Redmi’s upcoming tablet appears on UAE and European certification platforms

Xiaomi’s Redmi tablet lineup could soon expand, as an unannounced Redmi Pad model has reportedly appeared on the UAE’s Telecommunications and Digital Government Regulatory Authority (TDRA) certification database. The listing follows an earlier appearance on a European certification platform, suggesting that the device could launch in select global markets soon.

The tablet is listed under model number 26104RPF2G on the TDRA database. It was previously spotted on the European Economic Community (EEC) certification database with the same model number and registration number ER66249/26.

Neither listing reveals the tablet’s official name, specifications, features, price or launch date. These details could emerge in the coming months.

The upcoming device is expected to join the Redmi Pad 2 Pro 5G, the Xiaomi sub-brand’s latest tablet launched in India in January alongside the Redmi Pad 2.

At launch, the Redmi Pad 2 Pro 5G was priced at ₹22,999 for the Wi-Fi-only variant with 8GB RAM and 128GB storage. The Wi-Fi + 5G version was priced at ₹25,999.

The Redmi Pad 2 Pro 5G is powered by Qualcomm’s octa-core Snapdragon 7s Gen 4 chipset, built on a 4nm process. It features a 12.1-inch 2.5K display with a resolution of 2,560 × 1,600 pixels and a refresh rate of up to 120Hz.

Other display features include 249ppi pixel density, touch sampling of up to 360Hz, peak brightness of up to 600 nits, Dolby Vision support, a 16:10 aspect ratio and support for 1.07 billion colours.

The tablet also packs a 12,000mAh battery with support for 33W wired fast charging and 27W wired reverse charging.

While the new Redmi Pad’s specifications remain unknown, its appearance on certification databases points to preparations for a possible launch in international markets.
